New single, simplified internal process. Concerns will trigger a review and in many cases a decision to undertake a focussed inspection. We will not “investigate” individual complaints; we will use focussed inspections to consider the concern raised and assess whether a service is failing. The area managers will work closely with councils and will be responsible for the annual evaluation.
