Have you heard any thing about Nepal? If not, then I will let you to learn some thing about it through my this presentation. Here, in this presentation, I have used the simple words and photos to clarify my views. Ok, Lets start.
Introduction: General Information Location: Long: 80o4’ East to 88o12’ East Lat: 26o22’ North to 30o27’ North Border: China in the North, India in the south, east and west (Land locked) Total Area: 1,47,181 sq. km.
Geographic regions: Mountain, Hill & Terai Region Picture from the Atlas of Ekta. Here we can see that most of the part of Nepal is covered with the mountains and hills and few are plains.
Administration Information Administrative Divisions: 5 Development regions, 14 zones, 75 districts Total No. of Villages: 28,780 units Total VDCs: 3,912 units Total Town Municipalities: 58 units Regional Development Centres: Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dhankuta, Birendranagar and Dipayal.
