  1. Rotary District 5440 Literacy Scholarships Available to In-Service Teachers Purpose – Help current teachers improve their literacy pedagogy skills. Eligibility – the intended recipients are teachers who are and will be teaching next year within the geographical boundaries of Wyoming; northern Colorado above Loveland and including Craig, Steamboat, Sterling and Julesburg; Scottsbluff, Gering, and Morrill, Nebraska; and the Teton Valley area of eastern Idaho. Applications due February 12, 2010. Submit to UW College of Education Dean’s Office, 1000 E. University Ave., Dept. 3374, Laramie, WY 82071 or debm@uwyo.edu. Notification will be made on February 26, 2010. (please complete the attached application form) 2 awards @ $1,000 each to be used for literacy education coursework at the University of Wyoming to support in-service teachers.
