2. How to shower and use the washroom in space? They can sponge bath to conserve water. Dirty water from the sponge will be squeezed into a air flow and will float into a water tank. There are 2 different types of washrooms, one for number 1 and one for number 2. to do number 1 you need to pee in a tube that represents a cup which sucks it up. To do number 2 you release your waste and a tube sucks it up which creates gravity so the waste will go down the tube.

3. Do they have to wash dishes or laundry? No they do not because in zero gravity the water will float into electrical systems. Or the water will freeze.

4. How do they keep their living quarters clean? Astronauts would seal their garbage in plastic bags. Even containers of food was kept in plastic bags. they would clean eating utensils with wet wipes.

5. What special sanitation issue do astronauts face that those of us don’t worry about? For men they worry about shaving because, they can cut them selves and damage equipment. To prevent this to happen they use a safety razor and a special shaving cream
