  2. Step 1 • Choose Microsoft Exchange • If you set up Gmail, you will not be able to send any emails.

  3. Step 2 • Type your email and password • If a popup repeatedly asks for your password it is not secure! • Email Ms. Kuhnau to fix this problem

  4. Step 3 • Email: email • Server: m.google.com • Domain: leave blank • Username: email • Password: password

  5. Step 4 • Change Mail Days to Sync to No Limit • This way you won’t have emails disappear from your inbox.

  6. Signature Rules • Settings • Mail, Contact Calendars • Signature • YOUR FULL NAME • UP TO 2 EMOJI • Nothing else!!

  7. Email Etiquette • Keep it professional. • Explain yourself clearly. Why are you sending the email. • Be polite. • Subject line should give a clear understanding of what the email is about. • End the email with your name.

  8. Practice • Send an email to your advisor explaining what you learned today. • Make sure you have an appropriate subject. • Check that your signature is correct. • Use complete sentences and proper grammar.

  9. Google Calendar

  10. Create the event • Click the plus button on the lower right hand corner. • Name your event. • Add a location if necessary.

  11. Date and Time • Use the scroll bars at the bottom of the screen to change the date and time.

  12. Reoccurring Events • Do you want your event to repeat? • Choose how often.

  13. Alerts • This will make a popup appear on your iPad before the event. • Use caution with this so you don’t get in trouble in class.
