TERENA Compendium TF-CPR Compendium *Ca. 50 NRENs – GLOBAL *(Too) many questions – many topics, little about PR-comms *Survey March-ish – asks about a single point in time (31 Jan) *Compendium online interface – individual results viewable *Written report in Autumn, covers some of questions, published online & print *Widely used as reference *Now has global liaison *Interface evolving *Ca. 20 NRENs – European *Few questions – PR-comms focus *Survey March-ish – asks about past year & coming year *Survey Monkey – individual results not visible *Written report by TNC, covers all questions, published online *Used by TF-CPR members *Inspired Lat Am version but no liaison *Interface??

  5. ‘Conflicts’ TERENA Compendium wants TF-CPR wants *fewest possible, most meaningful, questions - questions that non-expert within NREN can answer - less detail about PR-comms *more visibility for PR-comms in main Compendium - Community recognition of scale and value of PR-comms work - more detail ‘Solutions’ Greater alignment of: • Timings • Questions • Tools • Cross-referencing

  6. Proposals • Complementary surveys • Use same tool • Cross-link from NREN C to TF-CPR C • Synchronise surveys • Cross-use of data • Develop global collaboration & equivalence
