  2. Our mission is to collect samples of this asteroid The way we will do this is to send a small rover down on it and take pictures and samples.

  3. The approximate time it will take to get there should be 3 years and 11 months • A space craft left in 2007 and will arrive there in November 2010.

  4. This asteroid comprises a 9 percent mass. • It has a mean diameter which is 53o km. • It is smaller than the state of Arizona

  5. The temperature of the asteroid could be HOT if the sun is on it . ( The sun shines on it). • It could be cold depending if the asteroid is facing away from the sun.

  6. The Atmosphere • There is no atmosphere on this asteroid. • It doesn’t have gravitational pull • It can’t hold the gasses around it.

  7. When did the space craft leave? • Answer: 2007

  8. When will it arrive? • Answer: November 2010

  9. What is the asteroid’s mean diameter? • Answer: 530 km
