  2. Brain Teaser (just for fun) Weigh #1 < We know which group of 6 contains the odd-weight stone.

  3. Brain Teaser (just for fun) • There are 12 stones, 11 of the same weight, only 1 is heavier. • Doing only 3 weigh-ins on a balance scale, can you tell what stone is heavier? Balance Scale

  4. Brain Teaser (just for fun) Weigh #2 < We know which group of 3 contains the odd-weight stone.

  5. Brain Teaser (just for fun) Weigh #3 < = If we the scales are equal, we know the odd-one out must be the heavier one.

  6. Trickier Brain Teaser Think on this for the next time…. What if we didn’t know one of the stones was heavier or lighter – just that it was a different weight? Could you still do it in 3 weighings? Our original method wouldn’t work…. Send me your solutions by email, and we’ll talk about it next week! (or if you finish up your Team project in here early,work on this one!) (Also, please send me any good riddles you know! I LOVE them! :o))
