National Standard Chart of Accounts • Common factor – Red tape reduction • Commenced in Queensland in 2002 • July 2006 – Queensland • May 2007 – New South Wales • November 2008 – Western Australian with pilot groups by 1 July 2009 and proposed Implementation 1 July 2010 • November 2009 – Victoria – full implementation 1 July 2010 • December 2009 – COAG – NFP Sub-Committee Consultation draft for feedback • April 2010 – COAG implementation for Qld, NSW, WA & Vic by 1 July 2010 & other jurisdictions 1 July 2011 • Sept 2010 to May 2011 – South Australia, Tasmania & Northern Territory – discussions and inclusion into draft version – yet to be endorsed by BRCWG & COAG • October – November 2011 – ACT, SBR & how this fits together Julie-Anne Mee ACPNS
