There are two types of Saffron basically grows in Kashmir " MONGRA & LACHHA " so let's talk about the characteristics of each type.<br><br><br>1. MONGRA <br>u2022 This variety has only thick long Stigmas (Red Filaments) & No other part of Saffron flower and it's obtained by separating stigmas from the yellow style.<br><br>u2022 Kashmiri Mongra Saffron is essentially without the waste of White end strand. This is picked or cut by highly trained Labours to give the final cut of kashmir Mongra Saffron, it has high aromatic nature & Flavouring qualities, It holds a Great place in Kitchen in both forms E.g Saffron Powder &
