  1. Which are the best preparation books for SSC CHSL Exam 2019? SSC CHSL (Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level) is a secondary level exam which fills the position for posts in government jobs like Lower Division Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, and Data Entry Operator. The eligibility criterion for this post is to pass 12thClass. It’s a three-tier examinations objective, descriptive and skill-based respectively. The first tier consists of content related to General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and English. Total time to complete it is 60 min and there is negative marking too, so candidate should be careful while choosing the option. If the candidates qualify for the second tier after achieving a minimum cut off in the first Tier he/she will have to clear the second Tier by writing essay and application /letter on a given topic. Finally when one clears both the Tier then they can attempt for skill-based exam i.e. 3rdTier. Syllabus: 1.General Intelligence: Logical Reasoning, Alphanumeric series, data sufficiency, seat arrangement, puzzle, blood relation, Directions, syllogism, code decoding etc. 2.Quantitative Aptitude: Number system, Arithmetic operations, Trigonometry, Profit &Loss, Work & Time, sequence & Series, Permutation and combination, Mensuration, probability etc. 3.General Awareness: Economics, geography, politics, environment, general policy, awards &honors, physics, computer, technology, cultural, Indian history etc. 4.English: Reading comprehension, jumbled paragraphs, multiple meaning, one- word substitution, cloze test, paragraph completion, miscellaneous etc. Each level requires different types of knowledge and skill before taking the exam and that is where good preparation is required.
