  2. History of Halloween • Halloween is held on the 31st of October which is the eve of All Saints Day. • It celebrates the harvest which is why the pumpkin is the symbol. It used to be called “All Hallows Eve” until the early 1600s when it was changed to Halloween.

  3. Typical Halloween Activities • Trick or treating • Attending costume parties • Carving pumpkins into Jacko lanterns • Lighting bonfires • Apple bobbing • Visiting haunted attractions • Playing Pranks • Telling scary stories • Watching horror films
