  1. Welcome to the School of Management & Governance of the University of Twente

  2. Important steps to take ! • Enroll at Student Services; You will receive your ICT login account within 10 workdays • Check your roster; • Enroll into the right Blackboard courses (standard they open for enrollment 2 weeks before the start of a new quartle)

  3. Student Portal (one link for all) Keep it simple and stay on top of things: Always use this link: http://my.utwente.nl (click “English” and “For You”) Check Educational Announcements (Onderwijsmededelingen); Check roster(s) enroll into Blackboard course(s) Connect to important applications like OSIRIS or Blackboard Connect to your favorite Email webapplication UT Calendar Student Services Laguage courses and so on....

  4. OSIRIS = our Student Information System(subscribe to an exam, retrieve grades and so on) Blackboard = our Electronic Learning Environment, each course has it’s own site, enrollment per course is needed). Make sure you check the Support TAB for the QRC. Important web applications:

  5. Blackboard • Blackboard is a system in which you can consult websites for the courses you participate in (after enrollment). These websites all have the same lay-out and structure. This way you can find information quickly. • The information is organised by course, here you will find the information necessary to take the course, such as Course Information, the roster (time schedule) and the assignments. Furthermore you can communicate with your fellow students and the instructor(s) and sometimes work in groups. ALWAYS CHECK THE CENTRAL AND COURSE RELATED ANNOUNCEMENTS

Blackboard (an example) Link: http://blackboard.utwente.nl Find the course code or coursename first ! • Check http://my.utwente.nl“FOR YOU”, “ROOSTERS (UT) ”, MB”, “Business Administration”, “Master BA FEB Block 2A” • Course “Accounting, Finance & Management” (193160010) • Find the course in Blackboard and Click the “Enroll button” * * - Enrollment is still needed but in the Future automatically through OSIRIS

  8. How to find a Teacher (or Student)? • Within a Blackboard course: check the button ‘Staff Information” or button “Email”; • Find the teachers name in the OSIRIS catalog see “Course INFO (UT)” and browse to:http://my.utwente.nl , scroll down and look under “Organization”, “Phone Book”.
