  2. BACKGROUND • Established in the year 1988 as the first and foremost contact point of the organization • Nukkad – precursor of the organization was started at the GRP centre • Is the major receiving point of the children

  3. OBJECTIVES • To contact new arrived children through field work and try to provide them a safe space from the distress and vulnerable situation • To motivate and counsel children to go back to their families • Spread awareness among the street children about various issues viz. Child rights, HIV/AIDS and other vulnerable issues etc. • To motivate children to join the shelter home program • To provide day care services to the children at the centre • Produce more children to Child Welfare Committee (CWC)

Celebration & Participation • 14 children participated in Children Common wealth Game at Butterflies • 26 children participated in Children’s day celebration at Tagore international School • 26 children went to observe Annual play • 27 children participated in Christmas celebration • 27 children participated in Diwali celebration at Vasant kunj.
