The Colgate Motion Redesign Team, consisting of Melissa Cardoso, Kyle Sam, Chris Lazar, and Megan Doerzbacher, utilized a Gantt chart to manage our project timeline effectively. Each team member focused on individual tasks while collaborating closely. Our initial research identified flaws in existing products and involved interviewing children and parents to understand their needs. We organized these insights into a hierarchy of importance. Through dissection of our original toothbrush and concept formulation, we developed a final design that incorporates valuable customer features, making it cost-effective while standing out in the market.

Colgate Motion Redesign Team D4: Melissa Cardoso, Kyle Sam, Chris Lazar, and Megan Doerzbacher
In order to finish in a timely manner we created a Gantt chart to make sure we met the deadline.
Though we mostly worked together, each team member had individual tasks that he or she focused on.
Before we considered concepts, we pointed out flaws and researched patents on current products.
We gathered information in regards to customer needs by interviewing both children and parents.
With their needs we then organized it into a hierarchy to determine which ones would be most important.
With various tools and measuring devices, we conducted a dissection of our original toothbrush.
Using customer needs we formulated some concepts encompassing different features requested.
With the concept selection chart we were able to narrow down the criteria for our toothbrush redesign.
Our final design incorporated customer needs and different aspects from the concepts we generated.
Compared to similar products on the market, our redesign has more features while still cheap and effective.
