  2. Enquiry and Performance wird angeboten als Grundkurs im 1. und 2. Semester

  3. Grundgedanken • Alternative zu den klassischen Grundkursen mit rein literarischen Schwerpunkten • als Anreiz für eher naturwissenschaftlich ausgerichtete Schüler • nur Schüler mit einem natur- wissenschaftlichen LK werden zugelassen

  4. Anforderungen im 1.Sem.Thema: GMF • PowerPoint-Präsentation • Termpaper • Klausur

  5. PowerPoint-Präsentation • ein Unterthema von GMF, z.B. dangers of GMF • wird in Partnerarbeit • mit Hilfe von Materialien aus dem Internet • in Form einer Powerpoint-Präsentation vorgestellt

  6. Bewertungskriterien • funktionaler Einsatz von Powerpoint • visuals • structure • language • body language

  7. Termpaper-vorwissenschaftliche Arbeit • individuelle Leistung • 5 Seiten auf Englisch • + structure • + visual material • + bibliography • zu einem Unterthema im Bereich GMF

  8. Termpaper-Bewertung • structure • layout • materials • language - grammar, style • bibliography (+ www)

  9. Klausur • schriftliche Umformung eines Artikels zu GMF • zu einer (PowerPoint)Präsentation • + theoretischer Analyse der benutzten rhetorical devices • mit Bezug auf im Unterricht besprochene Unterthemen

  11. Anforderungen • Interview: scientist - interviewer (+PowerPoint, Video etc.) • mit anschließender Diskussion • handout • Klausur

  12. Klausur • ein Text zum Thema brain (child abuse changes the brain) • summary --> 3. Sem. • Formulierungen von Fragen zum Text • weiterführende Fragen • allgemeine Fragestellung - comment

  13. Beobachtungen • unglaubliches Engagement auch schwacher Schüler • große Bereitschaft zu mündlicher Beteiligung • Attraktivität wirklicher Probleme • nicht nur „over to you - who cares?“

  14. Und zum Schluss:uffff • Kollegen klagen teilweise über Leistungen der Schüler im 3. Semester • Schüler fordern Enquiry andPerformance auch im Abitur
