Modern Apprenticeship Programme Last year we recruited 48 additional MAs – the most in any one year
Modern Apprenticeship Programme This took the number of MAs employed to 78 – the most at any one time EVER
Modern Apprenticeship Programme Our MAP covers two areas - • Office-based programme • Craft / construction programme
Office-based programme Available in a variety of areas – could include: • Business Support • Customer Service • Human Resources • Financial Services • Document Solution Centre • Housing • Social Work • Schools
Craft / construction programme Could be employed as a: • Joiner • Electrician • Slater / roofer • Plumber / gas engineer • Painter / decorator • Bricklayer • Storesperson • Horticulture / Green keeper • Motor Vehicle Mechanic
What do we need? Entry Requirements • Aged between 16 – 19 years old • Resident within the Renfrewshire area PLUS Craft / Construction Programme • 3 Standard grades at band 4 or above Office –based Programme • 2 Highers at Band C or above
What do we look for? Personal Requirements • Self-awareness; • Self-motivation; • Strong work ethic; • Ability to work as part of a team; • Committed to achieving an SVQ Level 3 qualification.
