What’s the difference? • Here are a few enhancements to consider: • Higher maximum and guaranteed issue amounts for Basic Life, Optional Life, and STD • AD&D qualification period extended to 365 days from the accident • More standard features for AD&D, like paralysis, loss of speech and/or hearing, loss of digits, repatriation, seat belt benefit, air bag benefit, and child education benefits • Increased benefit percentage (up to 75%) for accelerated death benefit (a.k.a. living benefits), plus a higher maximum benefit amount
What’s the difference? • And just a few more: • Simple 2-tier age reduction schedule for Basic and Optional Life (with other options available). • Optional AD&D and Optional Dependent coverage available with Optional Life. • STD plans better integrate with LTD plans so one picks up where the other ends. • LTD 66 2/3% benefit option has been rounded up to a 67% benefit. • Vocational rehabilitation rider is included with LTD and other optional riders are available for groups of 100+.
