About the London zoo • London zoo has about 34 different types of animals. • Gorillas can live in the lush of tropical rainforests of 6 countries across west and central Africa. • Gorillas can weigh up to 350-600 pounds (157-273 kgs) and are the largest of all primates. • At the London zoo there are many exotic and beautiful and weird looking fish in our Aquarian.

  3. Meerkats • Meer Kats are baby sitters and can kill scorpions. • Meer Kats are one of the most popular animals at the London zoo. • You can have a dinner in here and see the animals.

Adopting animals • Adoption packs - £35 • Our adoption packs are beautifully presented and include a certificate, photograph, information on your animal, subscription to our Wild About magazine plus some fun stickers and bookmarks. There is also a free zoo entry ticket so you can come and visit your new friend. • Postage is included in the price. • By purchasing an Animal Adoption pack you are helping to fund ZSL's conservation work.

  5. Here are some of the animals we adopted. At the London zoo we have adopted over 600 animals. Here are some of the animals we rescued. They were in very poor state when we rescued them.

  6. Admission prices. For children under 15 it costs £5.00. For adults it costs £12.00. And for O.A.Ps it is £6.00 Family ticket is £32.00 2 Adults 2 Children
