NANP Exhaust Projections • Pursuant to recent instructions from NANC, the NRO-WG reviewed and discussed existing assumptions with NANPA. • No new assumptions were drafted, but will be continually revisited as new data is gathered. • Discussed sensitivity analysis of impact of wireless inclusion in pooling.

  3. Pooling • California and Illinois matrices will be updated in January. • Additional information will be reported as it becomes available.

  4. ITN Report • Reviewed and affirmed October 1998 report. • Prepared new report and recommendation based on review of earlier report and new information. • It is too soon to implement ITN. • RECOMMENDATION: Implementation of ITN should be delayed until results of thousands block pooling are more clear and other less disruptive number optimization methods are investigated. • Forwarded recommendation to NANC Chair. .

  5. COCUS (NRUF) Requirements Document • Status of Document: NRO-WG will present final Requirements document to NANC at the November meeting. • COCUS report goes to NANPA and PA in areas where SPs are participating in pooling. • NRO-WG assumed that numbering resources will be withheld from SPs that have not submitted COCUS report to NANPA and PA. • NRO-WG assumed that PA will perform reasonableness tests for pooled NPAs as described in the COCUS Requirements Document. • NRO-WG forwards to NOWG the obligation to draft performance survey on COCUS.
