  3. Issues/Problems • Laboratory space/condition • Lab. Staff scarcity . • Relation with DTLO. • Unequal distribution of Budget (contact survey, Training, Smear preparation) • Infection control. • Lab. Hazard/Incentive ?

  4. Recommendation/Remedy RQCA post should come under the GON organogram. Insufficient Lab. Staff in RQCC (Med. Tech. - 1, Lab Technician – 2, Lab. Asst. - 2) Infection control (Bio-sefety cabinet -1) Establishment of Gene-Xpert machine with A/C device. Provision of Incentive - reasonalble. (AFB Microscopy, Gene Xpert, HIV testing etc.)

  5. Cont. Supervision to periphery Lab.(Center to Region, District, PHC etc. each MC in a Quarter.) Sufficient budget for each lab. activities. Better to separate the budget for Diagnostic part Observation tour within the country as well as Abroad. Lab. Staff scarcity . (Reserve lab. Staff better be placed at regional level)

  6. Cont. Relation with DTLO/A.(Biasness in TADA, as trainer(smear preparation , DOTS Plus ) ….. etc) QC slide collection should be in time. Involvement of Lab expert in Policy level meeting. Provision of Reward/Punishment. Regional/District lab. related activities by I/NGO, better to co-ordinate with Lab. Staff and DTLO.
