Florence Nightingale. Cassidy Boesen. She was born in ltaly May 12, 1820. In 1937 she wrote in her diary about her calling to become a nurse 1837. Florence decided to serve God by being a nurse in 1844. In 1854 Florence studied nursing in Kaserwerth, Germany.

  4. Florence decided to serve God by being a nurse in 1844.

  5. In 1854 Florence studied nursing in Kaserwerth, Germany.

  6. In 1854 she nursed soldiers of the Crimean War in Turkey.

  7. In 1860 she opened Nightingale Training School for nurses in London, August 13.

  8. On August 13, 1910, Florence Nightingale died in London.
