General midterm information Almost a perfect Bell Curve distribution of scores Due to a few questions that were possibly interpreted correctly in more than 1 way, everyone was awarded 3 additional points Your exam grades are on Psych Portal and I commented on many of your essay questions, which you should be able to view

The answer was A: GAD BUT- you were all reading this carefully and a large # of you chose C- no specific problem- which when reading this question, “she is able to work and care for her family”, might suggest that she is NOT in clinically significant distress……… so that’s great that you are thinking carefully about that!

The correct answer was B: Somatic symptom d/o BUT a majority of you were really looking at this deeper- which isn’t a bad thing- and answered with A: Factitious d/o In reality, for someone to have Factitious d/o, it must be known that they are falsifying their symptoms with “identified deception”
