The Southern Cross International Music Festival, hosted by Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, has established itself as the pre-eminent festival for school and community based performance groups. More than 700 musicians from Brisbane and around the world unite to participate in over 30 performances during the four day event The Southern Cross International Music Festival

  2. International groups will perform alongside the highly acclaimed Young Conservatorium ensembles and some of Queensland’s finest school ensembles. This musical and cultural milieu will provide students with moments of musical exhilaration, artistic satisfaction and cultural awareness The Event – More than just a music festival

  5. Master classes and Workshops Participants will work with Australia's most eminent musicians, both performers and conductors, in a vibrant musical environment

Artistic and Cultural provisions: A 60-minute Ensemble Workshop at the Queensland Conservatorium A 90-minute instrument Master class with staff from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and the leading professional performers from Brisbane. A performance/exchange opportunity in a Queensland, Sunshine or Gold Coast High School and/or Primary school. A public performance in the community in Brisbane or the Gold or Sunshine Coasts Tour provisions presented by World Projects South Pacific Southern Cross – inclusions and options
