  2. Experimental Setup • TeO2 bolometers • T=10 mK • Te-130 isotopic abundance ~34% • ββ peak ~2.5 MeV • Energy resolution ~8keV • Total mass ~750 kg

Underground Low natural radioactivity Nitrogen atmosphere Roman lead shields Polyethylene shields Faraday cage Materials shipped by sea Clean surfaces →Background ~0.2 counts/(keV kg year) CUORICINO experiment (~40 kg) Lower limit for lifetime ~1.8x1024 years Neutrino mass ~0.2-1.1 eV Background Reduction First Results
