C & I Update Fall 2009 • Attendance Reporting • Fully implemented for all classes! • Students who are not attending regularly will be reported as “at risk” • Attendance Reporting Policy and Instructions are online at the C&I homepage: • Faculty/Staff  Curriculum & Instruction; left panel under “Featured Links 2009-2010”

C & I Update Fall 2009 • Faculty homepage implementation • Required of all full and part-time faculty • Dave Sprott is managing the project • Legal requirement: Vita (resume) and course syllabi • Vita either MS Word or PDF • All faculty will use WhippleWare Syllabus Manager • Directory  “W”  Dick Whipple for example • Time frame: Complete by January, 2010

C & I Update Fall 2009 • Major Projects for the Year • Implement SWTJC-RGC P-16 initiative • Transfer plans coded as Colleague degree plans • Two math course required in each • Evaluate new Plato and Scantron capabilities • Add a Program Review Manager to WW • Address the weak writing skills identified in the “Graduate Writing Assessment Spring 2009” • Expand the scope of our QED • Plan for expanded “Writing across the Curriculum” • Complete revision of the Dev-Ed Plan
