RxTFC Training Objectives Upon completion of this training session, the user will be able to perform the following functions: • Sign on/off of the RxTFC system (BDM) Pharmacy System/GE • Understand the userid capabilities, password requirements and problem solving contact information • Become familiar with the system toolbar • Navigate through the system • Understand RN role prior to printing MAR • Print a Medication Administration Report (MAR) at the nurses’ instruction • Understand action to take if batch MAR job does not print END

RxTFC Overview and Navigation Overview The inpatient service coordinators at MD Anderson will utilize the RxTFC Pharmacy Information System to print admission Medication Administration Reports (MAR). You may gain access to the system by contacting the Pharmacy Computer Support Services (PCSS) @ 5-7433, 4-INFO, or during scheduled orientation training. Intro-Basic Navigation This is an introduction to the RxTFC system. By the end of this course, you will be able to successfully navigate through the sign-on screen and the various menus consisting of Patient Identification MRN, locate patient information and print admission MARs. END

  4. Accessing the RxTFC Production System 3 2 1 Access the RxTFC system from the Start menu option or (if accessible) from the RxTFC Icon on the desktop (not displayed in this example). END
