  3. La Bamba • Traditional Mexican song • Son Jarocho musical style that originated in Veracruz, Mexico • Often played during weddings • Bride and groom traditionally perform a dance while tying a long red ribbon (un listón) using only their feet.

  4. Son Jarocho • A regional folk music style from state of Veracruz • This style of music is a fusion of indigenous, Spanish and African musical styles. • Jarocho is also a colloquial term for people or things from the port city of Veracruz.
