Stanozolol is usually given at 2 mg three times a day for hereditary angioedema. The drug is generally safe and can be taken at low doses for many months. The anabolic effects are generally seen after a period of 3-4 weeks and continue to increase over time. The drug also has some mild androgenic effects at high doses.
