  6. 34 MEMBERS COUNTRIES Blues shows oecd members.Greens shows nonmembers.These are countries that are in a cooperation with.There are more than 70 countries which cooperate with OECD.OECD also cooperates with IMF and WORLD BANK.

TODAY OECD represents: -60 percent of national income -76 percent of world trade -90 percent of world official devolopments aids -54 percent of world energy consumption -18 percent of world population -Moreover,more than 100 countries participate as observer or participant in the studies of OECD's commities.

  11. How The Budget Is Managed?

  12. The size of OECD's budget and its programme of work are determined on a two-year basis by member countries. The Organisation's planning, budgeting and management are all organised on a results-based system. • Independent external auditing of the Organisation’s accounts and financial management is performed by a Supreme Audit Institution of an OECD member country, appointed by the Council. • Unlike the World Bank or the International Monetary Fund, OECD does not dispense grants or make loans.

How decisions are made, and at at which level? • IF Normal Case; after broad and substantial support, there is consensus. • IF A Points; without any discussions, they are accepted directly by Council. • IF B Points; the topics that are accepted after discussion in Council. • Point A Draft Resolution brought into the council can be opened to discussion if 15 % of the members demand.
