The ITTS project builds on past initiatives to introduce telemedicine services in Scotland, Norway, Finland, Sweden. It aims to implement scalable telemedicine solutions across the Northern Periphery region, focusing on improving accessibility, normalizing technology use, and fostering knowledge exchange. The project will execute 10 demonstrator projects in partner countries, including VC links for various medical services, smartphone applications for health tracking, and remote support in emergencies. Evaluation methods will be used to assess the projects, with outputs including reports, guides, and academic papers. The goal is to establish sustainable and effective telemedicine services on a larger scale.
