Streams • Streams are freshwater. • The water in streams is constantly moving. • The water in streams flows into rivers. • Streams are smaller than rivers.
Lakes and Ponds • Lakes and ponds are freshwater. • Lakes are larger than ponds. • People use lakes for fishing, swimming and boat riding. • Ponds are mostly used for fishing and swimming.
Glaciers • Glaciers are solid ice. • They are huge sheets of ice that move a few inches a year. • They are found where it is extremely cold like the North and South Pole.
