The Training Committee for Traffic Personnel convened on November 28, 2013, to discuss progress and challenges in traffic officer qualifications and AARTO refresher training. Provinces requested financial assistance for their provincial Day of Training (DoTYs) as representation issues for the National DoTY in February 2014 are anticipated. Key topics included revising qualifications in line with QCTO procedures, outstanding international DoTY fees, and AARTO training logistics. The need for collaboration among QCTO, SASSETA, and RTMC was emphasized to resolve current certification challenges.
