  11. May 6th Income Tax Renewal • On May 6, 2014, New Bremen Schools are asking voters to RENEW our EXISTING 1% income tax for a continuing period of time. • This is a RENEWAL,NOT A NEW TAX. • This 1% provides 20% of our revenue.

Why A Continuing Levy vs. a Limited (5 Year) Levy • By making this tax continuing, it insures the District’s financial stability • The continuing need for these funds have not changed since they were approved ten years ago • By not being on the ballot every five years, the District will save money on legal and county board of election fees
