Overall Need and Design Milestones • OVERALL NEED: To protect the communication lines of home security systems by detecting intrusion. • DESIGN MILESTONES: • Develop Detailed Schematics for interface (On going) • Receive sample code and sample products from Mr. Poston (Mid February) • Interface modem with the PIC Microcontroller (2/20/09) • Continue constructing source code for PIC (2/20/09)
Completed Tasks • Team meeting to discuss different methods of implementing sensors and further discussion of the case. (2/11/09) • Began organizing sections of sample code into main program.(2/13/09) • Began construction on power phase of design. (2/13/09)
