All of a sudden the egg cracked open and out came Eros, goddess of love. When the shell cracked half of it became the sky and the other half became the earth. Eros named the sky Uranus and the Earth Gaia. After that she made them fall in love. Uranus and Gaia had lots of children and eventually lots of grandchildren. Some of There children became afraid of the power there children would have. Kronus, Was afraid of what his children could do so to protect himself he ate his children when they were babies. But his wife Rhea had different feelings. She hid there youngest son, tricking him to swallow a rock covered in blanket. Once the child Zeus reached manhood, with the help of his mother, they tricked Kronus to give them all up. After that there was a mighty battle but eventually the younger generation won. They picked Zeus as their leader and began showing life to Gaia and the stars to Uranus. They eventually figured out that the Earth lacked two things. Men and animals. Zeus summoned his sons Prometheus andEpimetheus to create Men and animals on Earth and give them gifts

  6. Prometheus and Epimetheus set to work creating animals and human beings. Epimetheus worked hard giving each animal a special gift. As Prometheus tried to give the humans gifts, Epimthemeus said that he had foolishly used all the gifts on the animals. Prometheus decided he would have to give humans fire, even though only the gods were supposed to use it. So as the sun god rode by the next morning Prometheus stole some of his fire and have to the humans and taught them how to take care of it. When Zeus discovered what Prometheus had given to his creation, he became furious! Another of Zeus’s sons had a daughter, named Pandora. Each of the gods gave Pandora a gift. Zeus, still furious, gave her curious in a box and said never to open it. Then showed her to Epimthemeus as a wife. She loved her life with Epimetheus but she couldn’t wait to open the box. She thought since all the other god’s gifts were good she thought this one couldn’t be any different. One day when Epimetheus wasn’t there, she opened it. Out of the box flew all the bad things in life. Pain, envy, sickness, and greed. By hearing Pandora's scream, Epimetheus ran home and shut the box, but it was too late, all of it already escaped. Later that night there was a voice coming from the box. ”Let me out, I am hope.” Pandora and Epimetheus opened the box and out flew hope, to give hope to humankind.
