Enhancing Digital Competence: IML Strategic Seminar in Naples (June 2007)

The Department of Interactive Media and Learning (IML) held a strategic seminar at Terminus Hotel, Naples from June 11-13, 2007. This interdisciplinary group focuses on research, teaching, and development aimed at promoting digital competence within the Faculty of Teacher Education. IML context and profile • IML is about research, teaching and development • A major goal is the promotion of digital competence across the Faculty of Teacher Education • We are an interdisciplinary group of staff in relation to pedagogical, technological and social & cultural aspects of development • IML includes researchers, teachers and developers • We work on mutually reinforcing research themes • Current priorities for development include the development of e-Portfolios across the faculty general education courses, within a context of blended learning.
