The Department of Interactive Media and Learning (IML) held a strategic seminar at Terminus Hotel, Naples from June 11-13, 2007. This interdisciplinary group focuses on research, teaching, and development aimed at promoting digital competence within the Faculty of Teacher Education. Key themes include social values and digital cultures, ICT's role in education, and socio-cultural perspectives on learning. Current initiatives emphasize the development of e-Portfolios in blended learning contexts, fostering collaboration among researchers, educators, and developers in the field.

IML context and profile • IML is about research, teaching and development • A major goal is the promotion of digital competence across the Faculty of Teacher Education • We are an interdisciplinary group of staff in relation to pedagogical, technological and social & cultural aspects of development • IML includes researchers, teachers and developers • We work on mutually reinforcing research themes • Current priorities for development include the development of e-Portfolios across the faculty general education courses, within a context of blended learning.
