  7. Recruitment & Immersion • 2nd phase of recruitment is going on. New staff will be placed in Nov. 2013 • HR Induction of all newly joined employees have completed. • First batch of immersion to SERP, AP completed from 18th - 24th Sep’13.

  13. Other Initiatives • A monthly E- News bulletin is being published since July 2013. • Knowledge partnership established with XLRI, Jamshedpur and The Livelihoods Schools, Hyderabad for capacity building of SRLM team. • SHG database prepared of 9,000 SHGs in the State • Process for complete SHG profiling initiated • Process for NRLM project baseline initiated • Studies on Human Trafficking and PVTG is in process • Technical support for convergence with PRI and MGNREGA initiated with support from Kudumbashree, Kerala is in process.

Other Initiatives Proposals awaiting approval from MoRD, GoI • Partnership with women SHG federations covering 43,987 families, mobilised into 2,979 SHGs in 14 blocks across 5 districts promoted under Special SGSY program as Home Grown Model in Jharkhand. • Under MKSP, proposals of 8 PIAs - total of 27,600 families spread over 522 villages, 22 blocks across 10 districts has approved.

NRLM : Non- Intensive Progress … • Establishment of State Resource Cell for NRLM implementation. 09 professionals and 02 support staff recruited. • Set the physical and financial targets and finalization of Annual Action Plan of non intensive blocks for the year 2013 – 14 after consultation with the DRDA officials in 23 districts. • Release of 1st installment against AAP 2013 -1 4 amounting Rs. 22.27 Crores to eligible 15 districts. • Refund of SGSY unspent amount Rs. 26.22 Crores out of Rs. 39 Crores in State NRLM account.

NRLM Non-intensive progress … • Two day consultation programme (26th – 27th August 2013) on SGSY settlement and closure activities with DRDA officials and auditors. • Orientation on MIS templates, Reporting Schedules and Online update provided to 24 district officials. • District level orientation workshop on NRLM implementation in districts – Latehar, Palamau, Deoghar, Godda, Lohardaga and Ranchi. • Developed a standard guideline for implementation of AAP 2013 – 14 in non intensive blocks as well as financial norming for various trainings and exposure visits in different level.

  17. NRLM Non – Intensive progress … • Recruitment at district level NRLM cell in DRDA is under process (2 districts already established NRLM Cell). Standard guideline for recruitment of professional team and process developed and circulated to all districts. • ToR for engagement of NGOs in non-intensive blocks (one Gram Panchayat per block) has been developed and forwarded to districts for procurement of services. • Follow up against Action Plan 2013 - 14 field visits in 5 districts – Hazaribagh, Ramgarh, Koderma, Chatra and Bokaro. • All POs, APOs and Technical Assistants of the DRDAs (57 persons) of the state have been immersed and imparted training at SERP, Hyderabad. They have been exposed to the practices and processes under NRLM of Karimnagar and Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh. • Basic orientation training module for SHGs developed and circulated to districts for action. • Customised stationery (Register and templates) for SHGs as developed by intensive team circulated to the Districts to bring uniformity. • 5 out of 9 programme personnel of SRC have been immersed in SERP, Hyderabad for developing proper understanding about NRLM.

  18. Activities under process • Creation of pool of Resource Persons/ Trainers for various trainings at district as well as State (SRC). District Deoghar has empanelled 74 persons and Bokaro has advertized. • Settlement of SGSY liabilities of amount Rs. 12.00 Crores approx. • Audit of DRDAs is going on and reports expected soon. • Immersion-cum-Training of BDOs and LEOs have been discussed with SERP, Hyderabad (NRO, NRLM) and tentative programme in Nov. 2013 • District Level Workshop on NRLM, Interest Subvention delivery Mechanism is being scheduled during Nov 2013.
