  2. mummification • the meaning is “ the preservation of dead bodies by embalming them and wrapping cloth”. • At first, mummification was a only for rulers and nobles, but eventually, ordinary egyptians also won the right to mummify their dead, including pets.

  5. other interesting fact about mummification • when internal organs were token out, they were also mummified into jars • mummification preserved bodies so well that even thousands of years later, they took lifelike when unwrapped • Mummies were often laid to rest of coffins, most coffins were made out of gold and wood and highly decorated
