Possession using DE. Possession means “ownership”. In English, we show possession ( who owns something ) by adding :. Apostrophe S (‘S). In Spanish , we don’t have this (‘s). Instead , we can show possession by using the word “de,” which means. ‘Of’ or ‘ From ’ .
