  2. Six Sigma What is Six Sigma? Six Sigma is a statistically-based process improvement methodology that aims to reduce defects to a rate of 3.4 defects per million defect opportunities by identifying and eliminating causes of variation in business processes. In defining defects, Six Sigma focuses on developing a very clear understanding of customer requirements and is therefore very customer focused.

  3. Six Sigma Objectives: By completing this course, trainees will be able to: Recognize key attributes of a successful Six Sigma program. Appreciate project selection criteria. Realize the role of a Green Belt in the Six Sigma organization. Understand fundamentals of the DMAIC problem solving methodology. Use basic Six Sigma tools for Six Sigma project definition and process baseline. Understand the need for advanced problem solving and improvement methodologies used by Project Teams. Actively participate in a Six Sigma team

Mumbai – Silver Medalist), M.B.A. (I.I.M.Calcutta), QMS Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, with 28 years of middle and senior management experience in Johnson & Johnson Ltd., Horstmann India Pvt. Ltd., and Enertech UPS Limited. An expert in total quality management and Japanese management techniques, he is co-author of the famous book “Relationship Management in 21st century organizations”specializes in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, Integrated EHS, Kaizen, 5S, TQM, Six Sigma, and Poka-Yoke training. Has mentored over 185 nos. Six Sigma Black Belt Projects till date which includes 57 projects successfully implemented in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

  9. Six Sigma Course Certificate There will be a 90 minutes open-book examination at the end of the course. Pass marks are 50%. Participants who pass the examination will be awarded a UK AccreditedSix Sigma Green Belt Certification. Qualifying participants will be issued Photo-id card from ASCB-U.K., with listing of the professionals’ names on website of ASCB-U.K.
