  2. Questions you might have: Books- $18.00 La tarea  Homework will be given on a daily basis with few exceptions. Students will receive homework points toward their participation grade and sometimes I will collect homework for a grade. Students may also receive in class points towards their homework grade. Every TWO weeks a HOMEWORK QUIZ will be given. La clase De Señora Clement

Evaluation of Participation Spanish- speaks Spanish whenever possible(may raise hand to ask questions in English at times but always asks for permission) takes risks with the language, is willing to try new things, is willing to make mistakes; speaks the language not only with the teacher but also with other classmates. (2 pts) Homework- Always has homework that is assigned; completes homework thoroughly, and actively corrects homework when the answers are gone over. (1 pt) Active member- participates actively and regularly in class discussion, participates actively and regularly in group work by offering ideas and asking questions; contributes to group and class dynamics by eliciting feedback from others and helping to keep group on task; actively listens; raises hand several times each class period, is a willing participant; is always on task for the given activities in the class period. (1 pt) Professional- is a prompt and regular attendant; has all required materials; listens respectfully when others talk, does not sabotage group and class dynamics with distracting behaviors; does not disrupt the class with private conversations (1 pt)
