Confucianism • Confucius- most famous philosopher in Chinese history • China during his life- peaceful and at rest • Five basic relationships- ruler and subject, husband and wife, father and son, older sibling and younger sibling, and friend and friend • In basic relationships, they should respect others and set good examples towards others. • Influence on Chinese government- civil servants under the Han were hired on the basis of their ability • brainfuel.tv
