SpringBoard 2.21 (p. 135 & 136) • SSR • Read a book of your choosing for fifteen minutes. • Reflection Question • If your book were made into a movie, would you change any parts? Explain what you would change and why. • If you wouldn’t change anything, explain why directors choose to change the story when making a movie.
Rear Window Opening Montage Activity 2.21 – We will be analyzing seven still images from the first 30 minutes of Rear Window. For each image, complete the following chart by describing the scene and responding to the questions. Be prepared to share and discuss with the class!
SpringBoard 2.21 (p. 135 & 136) • In your composition book, create a T-chart with the left column for scenes (opening montage, Jeff watches Newlyweds, Lisa “introduces” herself, Miss Lonelyhearts has imaginary date, Thorwald and his wife argue, Jeff and Lisa argue, & Jeff spies on Thorwald) and the right column for film techniques.
