  2. CARAMELISED ONIONS!

  3. Before we start…… • Wash hands • Remove jewellery • Put on an apron • Tie back long hair

  4. What you will need… 2 tbs brown sugar 1-2 tbs balsamic vinegar 2 tbs olive oil 2-3 large brown onions

  5. Prepare onions for slicing by… • Removing outer layers • Slicing in half lengthwise

  6. Slice onions against the grain

  7. Heat oil in large frying pan

  8. Add onions and salt Cook for 15-20 minutes on LOW heat

  9. When onions look like this….

  10. Add vinegar and sugar

  11. Cook for a further 5-10minutes

  12. They are ready when they look like this

  13. Serve on some pita bread or alongside sausages ENJOY!
