  2. El Jardín Zoológico de Buenos Aires, Argentina, es un paseo corto y entretenido, sobre todo para los niños. Está ubicado frente a Plaza Italia, un lugar muy accesible de la ciudad, cercano a los bosques de Palermo y al Jardín Botánico.Las curiosas edificaciones en su interior datan de fines del siglo XIX. Declaradas “Monumentos Históricos" por su belleza, fueron diseñadas con un concepto de correspondencia arquitectónica entre los animales que eran exhibidos y los edificios de su país de origen

El Zoológico cuenta con un predio de 18 hectáreas, donde se encuentran 89 especies de mamíferos, 49 especies de reptiles y 175 especies de aves.En él se desarrollan actividades educativas y recreativas, como las visitas guiadas de escolares y delegaciones de distintas instituciones al Zoológico y a la Granja Educativa, visitas libres y espectáculos Biológico-educativos, realizados por los cuidadores quienes difunden las características de cada especie y las anécdotas de algunos ejemplares. En la Granja Educativa se realizan talleres de huerta y vivero, amasado y horneado de pan, apicultura y ordeñado.
