Attitudes of Worship • Believers are to rejoice in appreciation: • of many spiritual blessings – Eph. 1:3-6 • of Christ’s providence – Rom. 8:28-30 • of our future glory – Ps. 16:8-11 • of answered prayer – Ps. 66:20 ; Jn. 16:24 • for the gift of god’s Word – Ps. 19:7-11 • of the privilege of fellowship – 2 Tim. 1:4 • of joy of telling others about Christ – Acts 15:3

  7. Attitudes of Worship • Application • The joyful Christian is more concerned about glorifying God than about avoiding temporal difficulties. Rom. 8:18 • He thinks more of his spiritual riches and eternal glory than he does any present pain or material poverty. 1 Peter 1:6,7
