  4. The basics • Your time is about your ideas and your research, not a chance to practise presenting. • Discussion takes priority over presentation. We will cut presentations short if we have to.

  5. Lunch and networking • Students: please introduce yourself to at least one person other than your two mentors. • After fifteen minutes, we will ring a bell and you will need to find someone else to talk to. • After another fifteen minutes, we'll ring a bell again. • By the end of the day you will have talked to at least your two mentors, two panellists, and three other people in your field.
