The Connection Programme aims to establish 400,000 new water connections across five key categories. The Normal O&M Programme for 2014 and 2015, along with the Accelerated FFP Programme, forms the backbone of this initiative. The project targets 38,585 new connections from 2014 and estimates one-third of the annual target for each region for 2015. Additionally, connections from priority water supply projects funded by local banks and extensions of schemes in operation are included. This comprehensive plan outlines the strategic approach to improving water access.
