Thesis project takes part in the P.h.D. fellowship program Pro *Doc Art & Science (Universities: Lausanne, Berne, Fribourg, Geneva et Zürich). Title of the thesis: Voir, dire et rapporter la NDE (Near-Death Experience) : Une expérience clinique, psychopathologique et mystique / hallucinatoire 1) Aim of the Thesis Research  Historic Investigation about the Emergence / Emersion of the Notion of NDE (Near-Death Experience) among Scientifics (Psychiatric and North-American) during the Period 1970 – 1980. 2) Questions How and where the “extraordinary” (Near-Death Experience) exceeds the personal and spiritual dimension : clinics – experimental settings – psychopathology. OBE as a principal element of NDE (: panoramic view, tunnel, light, encounter with deceased persons, sensation of calm, floating, changes in perception of time and reality, etc.).

Because of the link to depersonalization: epilepsy, depression, phobic-anxiety depersonalization, migraine, hallucinogenic experience. (Epi)-phenomenon Normal – Pathologic 2) Link Thesis and Participation to the course “Corporeal Awarness and Self Consciousness” Analysis of case reports in history of depersonalization, epileptic diagnosis, link to contemporary diagnostics (Neurologic Clinic Geneva, LNCO).
